Something with life, something with force.
Something more.
Something.
Somehow you are a piece of the peace in my core.
The gray brick house and metal door, feeling all the love inside. Dancing, laughing, being loved…
but being loved.. no more. but in my mind is your door.
You gave a lifetime worth of love. You live.
Poetry is a form of expression. These expressions can include any thought, feeling, or state of being. Poetry has many definitions that are similar in nature. One definition of poetry is writing involving metaphorical or figurative language that has rhythm and at times rhyme. Another definition of poetry is writing that creates imaginative awareness of experience organized to spark a specific emotional response. Moreover, this is done through meaning, sound, and rhythm. Therefore, a person who writes poetry is considered a poet. All poetry here at Poetry Cue are great examples of poetry. This particular poem is Titled: Somehow You Live. The category is Elegy.
